The "home" part of the business is well organized and eye-catching. The staff is knowledgeable (particularly when Alice is working) and friendly. I much prefer the Stein's model to the over-priced, pretentious and stuffy Hawks of the past. I visit often to support this change. When this store was Hawks, I always felt like I was limited in my budget as everything had an "Elm Grove markup" attached. Average, everyday Wisconsinites can afford this store now.
